THIS CRIME HAS BEEN SOLVED.
CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: MARATHON GAS STATION, 2531 SR 60 WEST, LAKE WALES
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 25-51760
A retail theft occurred at the Marathon gas station store located at 2531 State Road 60 West in Lake Wales.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, the suspect seen here took two 24-ounce Twisted Tea canned drinks and ran out of the store, getting into a red four-door 2010-2015 model Chevrolet with a sunroof and two white stickers on the windshield. There appear to be scuff marks on the back bumper and trunk area of the car.

Just before 1 am on Thursday, April 2nd, a PCSO deputy on State Road 60 in Winter Haven witnessed a gray Kia SUV traveling in his direction at a high rate of speed.
